How do you go from the initial desire to invest in a property to the irresistible urge to buy and live in your dream home? Sabrina Boehm wanted to buy an apartment in Ericeira in March 2023 to rent out. But the allure of Ericeira's coastal landscape changed her plans. With the swift support of Your Property Advisor, her property search evolved into a quest to find her dream home with one clear criterion: proximity to the sea.

Sabrina's pursuit of her dream home proved difficult, as the desired location is in a region with numerous REN (Ecologically Sensitive Areas) and the availability of properties is therefore limited. Sabrina aimed for an already built house (with a license) to avoid bureaucratic delays.

Once confirmed, the Promissory Contract of Purchase and Sale (CPCV) was signed, subject to the granting of a building permit by the municipality, which arrived a few months later.
